Somewhere between the false profits and the audience they have captive, there was us. We remained silent, remained skeptical but we heard every word. While the crowd was content with the word coming from a confident voice, they knew not what it meant. We, the watchful, the thoughtful, and the listeners could remain as such no longer. We knew we must act, that we must speak, that we must do all we can for those who cast us out. We see evil, we hear evil, we speak evil. We are witness to the acts that have slain great men. We hear the sinners song. And we tell tales of the monsters we fight. We are sinners, we are liars, we are failures and we fall down. But we repent, we speak of beauty, we learn to succeed, and above all else, we get back up. We can offer no treasure to the poor, no rest for the weary, and no salvation for the damned. We only offer peace, love, and a helping hand... in hopes that one day, they can offer the same. And we shall rise from the ashes of our cities. We will fly above the fog of our state. And we will fight for our company. Follow the ones who stray and we can be giants. Lead the ones who fall behind and we can be immortal. Show the ones who claim to know and we can be gods. Shelter the ones who refused another and we can be heroes. Teach the followers to lead and we are
